Consultant Talk w/ Tensie J. Taylor

Join the National Society of Black Consultants for an evening discussion with Author, Educator, and Lindauer Consultant, Tensie J. Taylor for a special Black History Month version of Consultant Talk. This will be a free event conducted via our Airmeet channel (click here to register). Doors will open at 6 PM PT and will remain open after the event to allow for virtual networking. Additionally, the discussion will be broadcasted live via our Facebook and Twitter channels. A recording of the event will be made available via the same social media platforms immediately after the meeting for those that cannot attend the live meeting. Come join the fun.

About the Author

Tensie J. Taylor is from Louisburg, North Carolina. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication-Media concentration-and a minor in Psychology and from the University of Southern California in 2014 with a Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. Currently, Tensie is a Consultant for Lindauer Global, a global search and talent firm that places people across various sectors, such as higher education, independent schools, hospitals and academic medical centers, research facilities and foundations, social justice, and other mission-drive nonprofits. As a Consultant, Tensie works with clients in the above sectors to identity, assess, select, and retain the very best possible candidate to place in executive level positions. Additionally, she helps ensure the applicant pool is diverse and the client has diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives when hiring.

Tensie is a former Hollywood red-carpet host and has interviewed numerous celebrities at galas, charity functions, community service events, award shows, and film festivals. Tensie has attended the Oscars, People’s Choice Awards, BET’s Celebration of Gospel, NAACP Image Awards, Grammys, BET Awards, and more. Tensie’s hobbies include reading, writing, singing, playing the piano and trumpet, volunteering, mentoring young people, and traveling. She has traveled to 32 countries and 6 continents.

One of Tensie’s favorite quotes is by Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Tensie has recited and traveled across the United States making presentations and speeches since the age of three. Tensie has played the piano nationally and internationally, including Europe, Africa, and Cuba.
